Spring Branch Campus
Opened in October of 2016, the Adele & Ber Pieper Family Place apartments is an 84-unit Gold LEED permanent supportive housing complex located in the East Spring Branch community. Building on the success of Jane Cizik Garden Place and our continuing support of providing best practice centered services, the new complex provides a wide range of support services to women and their families under the guidance of two on-site case managers. We are pleased to continue our support of efforts to provide quality housing to vulnerable families. 40 units are set aside to support chronically homeless and homeless families through our partnership with Coalition for the Homeless and Houston Housing Authority. The remaining 44 units will be reserved for families with income no greater than 60% of median family income. The complex provides utilities, cable, and internet at no charge to the tenants. The complex is secure, with card access for parking and building entry and other components that qualify the complex as an HPD Blue Star property. It also features a secure courtyard with open spaces and creative play areas for children of all ages as well as a community building for activities, meetings, and family events. All tenants in the complex, as well as Jane Cizik Garden Place, will have access to the full range of services to be offered at the future Mabee WholeLife® Service Center located 4 blocks south.
